Please check each product page for shipping eligibility before placing your order.

Can I pick up my order at the Dunn Farmers Market?

Farmers market availability and pickup arrangements may vary by product and date. Please contact us before placing your order if you’d like to arrange market pickup.

We will confirm whether your order can be accommodated at the market.

How are your chickens raised and fed?

Our chickens are raised on pasture in mobile chicken tractors that allow us to move them to fresh ground as part of our management routine. The tractors provide shelter and help protect the birds from predators.

We use a custom-milled feed formulated to meet our birds’ nutritional needs. The formula does not intentionally include corn, fish, shellfish, or mammalian by-products, and it contains soy as a protein source.

Our feed is mixed at a mill where corn is also processed, so unintended corn cross-contact may occur.

For more details, visit our Additional Information page.

Where can I find ingredient and processing information?

We believe in providing clear information about our products and practices.

Our Additional Information page explains our poultry feed formulation, potential corn cross-contact during feed milling, water source, cleaning products, and processing practices.

For herbal products, hand balms, and other handmade goods, please review the individual product listing for available ingredient information. Contact us if you need additional details before ordering.

Are your products suitable for people with food allergies?

Our family has personal experience with corn allergies and Alpha-Gal Syndrome, which has influenced the ingredient choices and practices we use on our farm.

We are happy to share information about our feed formulation, ingredients, and handling practices. However, we cannot guarantee that a product is free from all unintended cross-contact or suitable for every person with an allergy or medical condition.

Please review the information available for the specific product you are considering and contact us with questions before purchasing.

Will my chicken weigh exactly what I requested?

Individual chickens vary naturally in size and weight. We do our best to fulfill orders according to the product description and any stated weight range.

The actual net weight of your chicken will be identified on its packaging. Please review the product listing for its pricing method and weight information before ordering.

If you have questions about weight ranges or pricing, contact us before placing your order.

How should I store poultry after pickup?

Keep raw poultry refrigerated at 40°F (4°C) or below, or freeze it promptly if you do not plan to use it within the recommended refrigerated storage period.

As a general food-safety guideline, raw chicken should be cooked or frozen within one to two days when properly refrigerated. Follow any additional storage instructions on your product label.

If you’re traveling to collect your order, bring an insulated cooler with sufficient ice or cold packs to help keep the poultry cold during transport.

Always handle raw poultry separately from other foods, wash hands and food-contact surfaces after handling, and cook poultry to an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).

Do you accept custom orders?

Yes! Custom orders are welcome for select products, including engraved wooden cutting boards, personalized stickers, and other custom requests.

Contact us with your idea, preferred design, and any details you’d like us to consider. We’ll discuss availability, pricing, and the details before confirming your order.

Custom requests are subject to material availability and production capabilities.

How long do custom orders take?

Preparation time depends on the product, design, materials, and current workload. We’ll discuss the expected timeframe when confirming your custom order.

If you have a specific date in mind for a gift or event, please let us know when you inquire.

Do you offer bulk or wholesale orders?

Bulk orders may be available depending on the product, season, and current production capacity.

If you’re interested in larger quantities of chicken or other available farm products, contact us to discuss availability, quantities, pricing, and scheduling.

Wholesale arrangements must be confirmed before an order is placed.

What if a product is out of stock?

Some farm products are seasonal or available in limited quantities. Our Shop page reflects current availability.

If an item is unavailable, contact us to ask whether we expect it to return or when the next availability may be.

Do you accept returns or exchanges?

Perishable food products require special handling, so we generally cannot accept returns of perishable items.

If there is a problem with your order, please contact us promptly so we can review the situation and work toward an appropriate resolution.

For nonperishable or handmade products, please contact us about any concerns with your purchase. Applicable return and refund terms are described in our Policies & Terms page.

Can I change or cancel my order?

If you need to change or cancel an order, please contact us as early as possible.

Changes may be possible before an order is prepared, but availability depends on the product and order status. Once preparation has begun, changes or cancellations may not be possible.

Please contact us directly if you need help with an existing order.
